This visitors guide serves as a valuable tool for both tourists and locals alike.

2023 Speak Clay County Photo Contest


“Speak Clay County” Photo Contest Winners

With the “Speak Clay County'' photo contest coming to an end on February 1, Clay County Tourism is excited to announce the winners of the competition. Contestants were asked to provide photos taken within the last year that represent areas all around Clay County and could be enticing to future visitors. Photos were judged on their quality, relevance and representation of Clay County, as well as visual interest.

“We had over 100 entries into the contest, so it was quite challenging to pick just a few to receive Chamber Gift Cards,” says Olivia Baxter, tourism coordinator for Clay County Tourism.

“Speak Clay County” photo contest winners are as follows: First Place, Lydia Wallace; Second Place, Caleb and Britney Snell; Third Place (tie), Lynn Graesing; Third Place (tie) Robin Edwards; Honorable Mentions: Brianne Blom, Lydia Wallace, and Nya Lo. Winners of the contest will receive a Spencer Chamber Gift Card in the following denominations: 1st place $100, 2nd place $50, 3rd place $25. All photo entries (including non-winners) have the opportunity to be used in future Chamber/Tourism marketing and be featured in the upcoming Clay County Tourism Visitors Guide, with credit given to the photographer.
