Ideally, the event will reinforce Clay County as a tourist destination and will serve a large segment of the population or contribute to the quality of life for those who attend.
Currently, $40,000 that may be awarded annually. This will be done through two application rounds, with $20,000 available for each round of funding. Applications for the current grant cycle must be submitted no later than 4 p.m. Aug. 1. Award notifications will be made in writing no later than Sept. 1.
