Reverend and Mrs. Parker, along with a group of county citizens, established the Parker Historical Society in 1960.

This house was purchased by Peterson Heritage in August of 2000. Since then Heritage has worked on restoration and improvements with the majority of exterior improvements being done around 2006 (Peterson Heritage, Inc.).

The Prairie Heritage Center provides environmental education, as it relates to the prairie and the region!!
Hours are:
Wednesday-Friday (9AM-4PM)
Saturday (1PM-4PM)

The Rock Forest School was one of the first frame schoolhouses in Clay County. With past memorabilia, the schoolhouse brings you back in time.
